Product Introduction
Laser Direct Structuring (LDS) materials are some modified compounds which containing organometallic additives. They can catalyze electroless plating process on plastic surface by the forming of metal nuclei after laser activation. An appropriate laser beam is used to print the designed circuit diagrams on the injection-molded parts. After the electroless plating process, metal traces can be deposited onto the treated plastic surface. The process of LDS consists of 3 major phases as shown below.

JinYoung offer a series of glassfiber reinforced long chain polyamides for LDS. Key properties of these grades are high fluidity, low moisture absorption and low warpage. The typical grades of these materials are as follows:
